Jeffrey “Jeff” Lynne Siders, 50 of Salem passed away on Thursday September 12, 2019 at United Hospital Center. He was born March 4, 1969 in Clarksburg, son of Lawrence Edwin and Marion Dreatha Riddle Siders of Salem. Jeff graduated from Liberty High School Class of 1987. He attended the welding and pipefitting school in Philadelphia, PA. Jeff served his country in the United States Navy during the Persian Gulf War. He worked delivery for LocoMoto in Clarksburg. His hobbies were bowling, fishing, hunting, and derby cars, NASCAR, golfing with his buddy “Jude” and being a “Big Kid” with his grandson and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of twenty five years, Karen Louise Ash Siders; two children, Devron Siders and Colby of Clarksburg, Jessica Siders and companion Michael Yost of Clarksburg; one grandson, Avery Siders; one brother, Larry Siders and Nancy of Salem; adopted sister, Amber Siders and companion Emmy Heaton of Weston; brother-in-law and sister-in-laws, Phillip Ash and Becky of Parkersburg, Melissa Sutton and Martha Cade both of Salem; special cousin, Rick Siders and Joyce of Salem; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends at Greathouse Funeral Home, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 3-8pm and on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 11 am until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Chad Ash presiding. Interment will follow at K of P Cemetery where full Military Honors will be accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard and the United States Navy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be made to WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute, Parkinson’s Research, PO Box 9100, Morgantown, WV 26506-9600. Jeff was a Core Donor to give back life.
