Maxine Carol Criss Randolph, 89 of Salem passed away on June 15, 2019 at United Hospital Center. She was born November 11, 1929 in Metz, WV daughter of the late Arliff and Mamie Lemley Murphy. Maxine graduated from Bristol High School, Class of 1948 and attended Fairmont State College. She worked at Meadow Gold Dairy and retired as a Kindergarten Aide for Harrison County Board of Education for seventeen years. She attended Wolf Summit Wesleyan Methodist Church. Her hobbies was sewing, shopping and collecting roosters. She enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing in Canada.
She is survived by four sons, Robert M Criss and Debbie, Good Hope, Randy L Criss and Lisa, Salem, Timothy J Criss and Linda, Clarksburg, and Darren R Criss and Cindy, Bridgeport; two stepsons, Dalyn L. Currey and wife Beth, Mickleton, NJ, Neil E Randolph and wife Martha, New Manchester, WV; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; special niece, Cheryl Drummond, several nieces and nephews; special thanks to neighbors, Blair and Fern Nutter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Earl Criss on November 1998 and second husband, Forest Wayman “Bud” Randolph Jr on September 2018; one grandchild; one great grandchild; four brothers, Dale Murphy, Lloyd Murphy, Frank Murphy and James Murphy; three sisters, Doris Coombs, Helen Stark, and Pauline Howard.
Family will receive friends at Greathouse Funeral Home, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 4-8pm; Funeral Service will be held at Greathouse Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 11:00am with Pastor Dan Cope officiating.
