It is with great sadness that the family of Kyle Andrew Schumacher announces his passing on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the age of 37. Kyle will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Ernest (Joe) Schumacher and Roberta (Bobbie) Schumacher of Salem, West Virginia, his sister, Sigrid Teets, and her husband, Jason, of Belington, West Virginia, and his girlfriend, Christina Sanclemente, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He will also be fondly remembered by his nephews and niece, Liam, Camlin, and Gwennyth Teets.
Kyle was a 1999 graduate of Liberty High School, attended West Virginia University, and graduated from Fairmont State University in 2008 with a BS in Occupational Safety. He enjoyed traveling all over the United States throughout his career in safety management.
Loving the outdoors, Kyle was an avid skier, hiker, fisher, and camper. Kyle was also a gifted drummer who played for local area bands, and he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite team, the West Virginia Mountaineers. His smile as well as laughter will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Greathouse Funeral Home in Salem on May 19, 2018 from 12-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
